Your class's practice, in one view

A student sent you this page. Paper Zero is a free practice app for IB Maths, Analysis and approaches SL first: students write their working on paper or a tablet and get it marked step by step. A class code gives you three things, for about two minutes a week.

  1. 1. Who practised this week

Per student: the days they practised, the questions they answered and the handwritten pages they had marked. Never their pages or their working: your students agree to share counts, not work.

  2. 2. What the class finds hardest

The five question types with the lowest marks across the class's recent answers, and the marks most often lost, counted in students: "lost M1 on optimisation: 4 students". Read it before the lesson, not after the test.

  3. 3. One place for coverage and test dates

Tick what you have taught and add the dates of your tests and mocks. Every student's daily plan follows them: it recaps what you covered, holds back what you haven't, and prepares for the nearest test.

How it works

  • Sign in at paperzero.app/teach with your school email. The code it receives is the only check; there is no form.
  • Make a class and read its 6-character code out. That is the whole setup.
  • Students enter the code at paperzero.app/join and agree to share their practice with you. Each can leave at any time; under 16, a parent agrees first.
  • Free for teachers and students. No marking for you to do: the app marks, you read the view.
